United Springs is pleased to announce the appointment of Pakko Produtos para Embalagens Ltda as agent for Brazil.

Marco Aurelio Marchetto and his wife Teresa established Pakko in 1995 following Marco's successful career as a Director of one of Brazil's premier packaging companies, Dixie Toga.

The couple have a very active social life and enjoy scuba diving, tennis, dancing, art and amateur dramatics. They have been married since 1975 and have two daughters, Carolina & Clarissa. Carolina has a PhD in Biology and currently lives in San Diego and Clarissa works as a TV Producer in Sao Paulo.

United Springs is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Alan Mines as agent in South Africa.

Alan, a native of Liverpool, moved to South Africa in 1982 having accepted a position with Rhodia. Adrian May, Head of Sales & Marketing said, "Alan has a wide and varied network of contacts in South Africa and has a successful track record of representing UK companies. I've no doubt that he's an asset to our team and will be an excellent ambassador for United Springs".

Alan is married to Vivienne and has two children and three grandchildren. His hobbies include remote control car racing at which he competes at local and national level. Alan hopes to race at international level in the very near future.
